Ashley & Derick's Engagement Session

I am so behind on my blog so brace yourself for a flood of entries.  A few weeks ago I photographed Ashley and Derick's engagement photos.  This was a really fun session that we started in the studio and then moved downtown to the canal.  Derick's son came along with us as well and we had such a beautiful day for the shoot.  Ashley and Derick are getting married in September so stay tuned for the wedding photos!

Kristen's Maternity Session

A couple of weeks ago I photographed this maternity session with Kristen, her husband and even their two dogs. They live just around the corner from my studio and are expecting their first child in the next month or so. They are going to be on my "Watch Me Grow" plan when the baby arrives so stay tuned to meet baby Collin!

Laura & Chris's Wedding

A few weeks ago I photographed Laura & Chris's wedding. The weather was absolutely gorgeous for this event and the bridal party could not have been more fun to work with. My favorite moment though is when the entire bridal party shot-gunned beers before going into the reception. I have seen a lot over the years at weddings but this was a first. I want to thank Laura and Chris for having me as a part of their day. Their families and friends were such a pleasure to work with and it is couples like them that make me love what I do. Congratulations Laura & Chris!

Black and White Session

An old high school friend of my husbands contacted me recently and wanted some classic black and white images created of her children.  I love shooting this simple clean style of portraiture.  Black and White session can be done during any in-studio session if anyone is interested at no additional charge.  This would make a great mother's day gift if anyone is interested.  There is still time.

The Nature Conservancy Groundbreaking Ceremony

I am a little behind on my blog so bear with me. On April 16th I was hired to photograph the groundbreaking ceremony for the Nature Conservancy's new Indiana headquarters. Mayor Greg Ballard as well as several others spoke at the event about the many green features and benefits that the building will offer the city. The building once constructed will be able to apply for certification as a LEED Platinum building, the highest possible recognition for green buildings and would be the first of its kind for the city. If you are interested in learning more about the building or The Nature Conservancy please visit www.nature.org/indiana
